JFK-- murder

Dear Alfred Tripp,

From what i have learned and heard about in class, John F. Kenedy was shot and killed, on Friday, November 22, 1963, in Dallas, Texas, at 12:30 p.m. while riding with his wife Presidential motorcade, and shot by a man named Lee Harvey Oswald, which later people said there was a total of 4 shots fire, but only one hit the president and the other three still havent been found. Also something that i found very interesting about what happend that day was Secret Service agent Clint Hill was riding on the left front running board of the car immediately behind the Presidential limousine. Sometime after the shot that hit the president in the back, Hill jumped off and ran to overtake the limousine. After the president had been shot in the head, Mrs. Kennedy climbed onto the rear of the limousine, though she later had no recollection of doing so. Clint Hill believed she was reaching for something, mabye a piece of the president's skull. He jumped onto the back of the limousine, pushed Mrs. Kennedy back into her seat, and clung to the car as it exited Dealey Plaza and sped to Parkland Memorial Hospital. But i also have a cupple questions about what it was like being alive at a time were your president was killed. Why do you think that Lee Harvey Oswald killed him like that? What was going on at the time that would make some one do something that drastic? How did say your parents react to this kind of behavior? what went through your mind when this was going on? How old were you? If you dont mind awnsering some of the questions it would really help me understand what went on that day from a bistanders kinda of veiw.

Please and thank you!
Kiana Hamilton
