Dear Alfred Tripp,
From what i have learned and heard about in class, John F. Kenedy was shot and killed, on Friday, November 22, 1963, in Dallas, Texas, at 12:30 p.m. while riding with his wife Presidential motorcade, and shot by a man named Lee Harvey Oswald, which later people said there was a total of 4 shots fire, but only one hit the president and the other three still havent been found. Also something that i found very interesting about what happend that day was Secret Service agent Clint Hill was riding on the left front running board of the car immediately behind the Presidential limousine. Sometime after the shot that hit the president in the back, Hill jumped off and ran to overtake the limousine. After the president had been shot in the head, Mrs. Kennedy climbed onto the rear of the limousine, though she later had no recollection of doing so. Clint Hill believed she was reaching for something, mabye a piece of the president's skull. He jumped onto the back of the limousine, pushed Mrs. Kennedy back into her seat, and clung to the car as it exited Dealey Plaza and sped to Parkland Memorial Hospital. But i also have a cupple questions about what it was like being alive at a time were your president was killed. Why do you think that Lee Harvey Oswald killed him like that? What was going on at the time that would make some one do something that drastic? How did say your parents react to this kind of behavior? what went through your mind when this was going on? How old were you? If you dont mind awnsering some of the questions it would really help me understand what went on that day from a bistanders kinda of veiw.
Please and thank you!

JFK--space race
okay, so i think that its kind of a waste of money but at the same time a good thing. Because why should we spend all this time and money on something just to say that woah we've been on the moon, cause if you think about it we spent all this money just to step on the moon for two minutes. but at the same time it is a good thing because we want to know about the things around us even that far away because we want to know if something drastic or anythings going to happen.
i think that we should focus on both of them because we should always explore the outdoors and we should always work on the next best thing or the next thing that will help figure more stuff out or help us realize something that we didn't notice or think of before. so basicly i think that you can't have one without the other, you can't sit there and climb a mountain just because its there if you don't have new equipment to use to climb it so really you got to think about it both ways.
